The Day That Hunger Ended

Foodbank WA had a plan to end hunger in Western Australia forever, by 2030. They just needed to establish the financial foundation to make it happen. So, they created a bold new fundraising strategy. A new benefactor programme, inviting Western Australian businesses and philanthropists to join a select group of high-worth contributors known as the "Foodbank Guardians of Western Australia”.

These Guardians deserve a place in WA’s story forever. So, we started writing their story today. The fable, written from the perspective of 2030, is based on real Foodbank research on the far-reaching effects of hunger on WA society, and the real-life benefits of ending it.
